Spring Creek Elementary School has been closed effective the 2013-2014 School Year. For more information about the closure of the school please visit the 'About Spring Creek' tab above.
For everyone who has fought the long, hard battles to keep the school open and has supported our community and our children, THANK YOU.
Please check back often for updates on what is going on and to keep up with our community. However, there will no further information added to the 'School News' tab with the closure of the school. The remainder of the web site will be updated frequently.
We have a Drop Box!
Did you know you can drop off your soup labels or box tops any time you want?
There is a drop box located on the front door of the storage shed in front of the school. If you have any fundraising items that you want to drop off, feel free to leave them in the Drop Box! I only ask that you put them in a plastic bag if it is raining or snowing. The efforts of this community have been amazing!
If you have any questions or would like someone to pick up your fundraising items, feel free to call Melissa at 255-4545.

2012 Soup and Pie
The date for Soup and Pie has been set! Here is all the information: The 2012 Soup & Pie Supper and Silent Auction at Spring Creek Elementary School will be held on Saturday, October 27th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids ages 5 to 12, and kids 4 and under are free. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the door. If you would like an advance ticket, contact a Spring Creek School student! We hope to see you all there!!! |
Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year
Welcome to a new school year!! We have survived the heat, drought, and fires AND have a wonderful new teacher for our school! Our new teacher is Mrs. Zumpano and there will be more information about her on the site soon. We also have a new principle!! His name is Jeremy Hurd and he is responsible for the new paint on our playground equipment. If you get a chance to meet him, tell him thanks from Spring Creek. There will be a lot of exciting things happening this year. Fall and Soup and Pie are just around the corner. As soon as a date for Soup and Pie is set, it will posted here. It's Summertime!!
Another school year has come to a close. With it comes a lot of changes and uncertainty. However, we are a strong community and will pull through. There are a lot of rumors going around so I am going to share what I know. To start with, we are losing both of our teachers. As most of you know, Rachael's contract was not renewed. Ms. Nette has accepted a teaching position at another school and will not be returning either. So, if you know any teachers who are looking for a job, let them know! There is also a lot of speculation about the closing of the school. I can't begin to predict what will happen, but I do know that I am not giving up. I suspect that nobody else is either. So, lets keep our chins up and keep on fighting. On a final note, I am looking for someone to help keep this site updated. Contact me if you are interested. Thanks, Melissa |
A new year at Spring Creek
Well, we've made it to 2012! We have Soup and Pie and the Christmas Program behind us, as well as a few School Board Meetings. So far the school will remain open for next year as well. Any upcoming events will be posted on this site, as well as any new information about the future of the school. Thank you to everyone who has supported this school. Whether it is realized or not, the lives of six wonderful children have been changed because of this community. You are all truly wonderful! |
Play Try-Outs!
Do you have some drama in your life? If you're looking for the perfect outlet, come to the 2011 Spring Creek School Christmas Play Try-Outs! This year, the school is running low on older students, so try-outs for the Christmas play are being opened to the public. If you would like to try out, come to Spring Creek School on Tuesday, November 1st at 7pm for try-outs. The Christmas play will be December 16th at 6pm. Play practice will be held several nights a week. Come have some fun and show off your school spirit by being a part of the 2011 Spring Creek Christmas Play!
